Stage Road Animal Hospital has been following the progress of the COVID-19 pandemic and the recommendations from the state and federal authorities closely for the several weeks. As we enter into a slightly more relaxed phase of restrictions, we have eagerly taken steps to reopen our lobby for services on Monday, April 26,2021 with the following changes:
WE HAVE ESTABLISHED MORE ELABORATE PROTOCOLS TO HELP ENSURE THE SAFETY OF OUR STAFF, CLIENTS, AND COMMUNITY. THESE NECESSARY STEPS ARE LABOR AND TIME INTENSIVE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING WHILE WE WORK HARD TO PROVIDE OUR BEST FOR YOU AND YOUR PETS.
WE WILL BE OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 7 AM - 6 PM AND CLOSED ON SAT AND SUN
DOCTORS WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM 8 AM UNTIL 5 PM, MONDAY - FRIDAY.
GENERAL APPOINTMENTS ARE AVAILABLE FROM 8 AM UNTIL 5 PM
REQUESTS WITH A SPECIFIC DOCTOR ARE AVAILABLE FROM 9:30 AM - NOON AND 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM
WE STRONGLY SUGGEST OWNERS SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS IN ADVANCE FOR ALL PROCEDURES
TO REDUCE LONG WAIT TIMES OUTSIDE, WE HAVE MADE MORE TIME SLOTS AVAILABLE FOR URGENT CASES THROUGHOUT EACH DAY. THE NUMBER OF THESE TIME SLOTS ARE LIMITED AND ARE ASSIGNED ON A CALL-AHEAD, FIRST COME-FIRST SERVE BASIS. PLEASE CALL AHEAD AT 919-639-3337 TO CHECK FOR AND RECEIVE A TIME AVAILABILITY.
IF YOU OR SOMEONE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD ARE ILL WITH COVID-19 OR SUSPECTED OF HAVING THE DISEASE, PLEASE LET US KNOW AHEAD OF TIME AND HAVE ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL BRING YOUR PET IN FOR EXAM.
If your pet is having a veterinary emergency, we are going to rely on hospitals designed and prepared for those situations. We recommend the following:

If your pet is having a health issue not considered as an emergency or you have a question about a recent visit, suggestions for getting seen at the proper facility, or requests for current prescription refills via our on-line pharmacy, we will be checking our email at the following:
We will check this email Monday-Friday and will check it at least 3 times per day.
PLEASE, DO NOT USE EMAIL FOR EMERGENCIES OR FOR US TO MAKE DIAGONSES OR TREATMENT SUGGESTIONS. The rules regarding telemedicine, or treating patients without a client, doctor, patient relationship, are very clear and not allowed. We can, however, give advice for patients recently seen and undergoing current treatments. In the least, we can direct you to a center that will offer the best of care during this difficult time.
Remember though...IF YOU ARE IN DOUBT ABOUT A HEALTH ISSUE WITH YOUR PET, IT ALWAYS PAYS TO CHECK IT OUT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. WE WILL MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO SEE YOU AS SOON AS POSSIBLE OR RESPOND TO EMAILS BUT, BECAUSE THERE ARE TOO MANY UNFORESEEN THINGS THAT MIGHT PREVENT US FROM PROVIDING A TIMELY RESPONSE, AND BECAUSE WE WILL STRONGLY LIMIT OUR ADVICE IN MOST CASES, YOU SHOULD NOT HESITATE A VISIT TO ONE OF THE EMERGENCY HOSPITALS IN OUR AREA IF YOU CAN'T GET IN TO SEE US IMMEDIATELY.
