At Stage Road Animal Hospital, our goal is to provide high-quality veterinary care in a timely manner. To ensure we can accommodate all of our valued clients and their pets, we have established the following policy regarding missed appointments and cancellations.

⏰ Appointment Cancellations

We understand that life happens, and sometimes appointments need to be rescheduled or canceled. If you need to cancel or reschedule your pet’s appointment, we kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows us to offer the appointment slot to another pet in need.  **Saturday and Sunday are excluded as notifiable hours since Stage Road Animal Hospital is closed during these days.**

🚫 No-Show Policy

A “no-show” occurs when a client misses an appointment without calling to cancel or reschedule. Missed appointments prevent other pets from receiving care and disrupt our schedule.  Appointments canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time are subject to our No-Show policy.

• First No-Show: A courtesy reminder will be provided, and we’ll note the missed appointment in your file.
   

• Second No-Show: A no-show fee of $35 will be applied to your account.
   

• Third No-Show: A deposit may be required to schedule future appointments.  Deposits collected will be forfeited if the subsequently scheduled appointment the deposit was collected for is missed or canceled less than 24 hours before the appointment.

📅 Same-Day Appointments & Late Cancellations

For appointments scheduled within 24 hours of the appointment time, we ask that you notify us as soon as possible if you cannot make it.

• Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 2 hours before a same-day appointment may be considered a no-show and subject to the same policy.
   

• No-Show for Same-Day Appointments: If you miss a same-day appointment without notifying us, it may result in a no-show fee and/or require a deposit for future appointments.

💳 Surgical and Extended Appointments

For surgeries, dental procedures, and extended appointments(appointments requiring sedation), we require a 48-hour notice for cancellations.  **Saturday and Sunday are excluded as notifiable hours since Stage Road Animal Hospital is closed during these days.**

• A No-Show fee of $100 will be applied to your account at the first no-show incident.
   

• Late cancellations or no-shows for these services may result in a deposit being required for future appointments.  The deposit collected will be forfeited if the subsequently scheduled appointment is missed.  Appointments canceled less than 48 hours before your appointment are subject to our No-Show policy.
   

 

💡 Late Arrivals

If you are more than 10 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, we may need to reschedule to ensure we can provide proper care to all of our patients.
